Registration Fees
Please ensure that you know the relevant fee for your application where applicable.
Fees are set out by the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (Fees) Rules 2014 and the relevant amendments.
The PSI does not accept payment by cheque, bank draft, or over the phone. Please do not send Debit or Credit card details in the post or by email to the PSI.
Payment of Fees, Register of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Assistants
The payment of fees for registration in the Register of Pharmacists and Pharmaceutical Assistants can only be made through the PSI Registration Portal by Credit or Debit card.
If you are applying for Qualification Recognition under the Third Country Route of registration, you can pay by Bank Transfer/Electronic Funds, please use the application fee payment form.
Payment of Fees, register of Retail Pharmacy Businesses and Internet Supply List
The payment of fees for registration in the Register of Retail Pharmacy Businesses and Registration to the Internet Supply List can also be made by Credit or Debit card through the PSI Registration Portal. The benefit when paying by card is that the payment is immediately linked to your application, supporting the timely completion of your application.
Where payment by card is not practicable, the PSI accepts payments by Bank Transfer/Electronic Funds. The PSI’s current bank details are included on all Fee Demand Notices (FDNs). The FDN is generated when you submit an application through the PSI Registration Portal and choose the 'Pay by Electronic Funds' option at the last step of the online application process.
Payments made by electronic funds transfer are required to include the Fee Demand Notice (FDN) number as a reference in the narrative of all bank transfer payments. Where this is not possible, an email remittance must be sent to financeteam@psi.ie. This remittance should include the date and total amount of your payment, the narrative reference used and a list of all the Fee Demand Notices (FDNs) references associated with the payment together with the individual fee amounts. Omission of this information can result in significant delays in identifying and allocating payment to your application and could negatively impact your application status.
Receipts for Payments
Receipts for payment of applications made by Debit or Credit card through the PSI Registration Portal are issued automatically to the registered email address upon payment. Receipts for payments of registration in the Register of Retail Pharmacy Businesses and Internet Supply List by Bank Transfer/Electronic Funds will automatically issue when PSI allocates payment to your application. - Late fee if continued registration is made less than 30 days before current certificate expires (this is in addition to the continued registration fee of €380): €90.00

10. Late fee if continued registration is made less than 30 days before current certificate expires (this is in addition to the continued registration fee of €2135) : €500.00
11. Late fee, in connection with an application for the temporary registration of a retail pharmacy business in the Register of Retail Pharmacy Businesses: €0.00
12. Fee for registration after a change in the ownership of a pharmacy: €3,325.00
13. Cancellation from the pharmacy and pharmaceutical Registers: €0.00

15. Registration after voluntary cancellation: €540.00
16. Registration fee after involuntary cancellation (when applying within six months of unpaid fee due date): €710.00
