Guidance for Pharmacists on the Safe Supply of Non-Prescription Sildenafil 50mg film-coated tablets (Viagra CONNECT®)

In this guidance we highlight key points that should be considered by pharmacists in ensuring the safe supply of Viagra CONNECT®, in line with the product’s marketing authorisation. 

Viagra CONNECT® 50mg Film-Coated Tablets are licensed as a pharmacy-only medicine for the treatment of men aged 18 years and over, for the management of erectile dysfunction. 

Due to the patient consultation and assessment required to determine the safe supply of this medicine, Viagra CONNECT® must only be supplied by the pharmacist
