Grainne Power

Gráinne is the Director of Compliance at the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) in Ireland, responsible for various licensing, inspection, market surveillance and enforcement activities relating to medicinal products, blood, tissues and cells and cosmetics. She joined the HPRA in 2018, initially leading the Human Products Authorisation and Registration Department, where she was responsible for the authorisation and registration of human medicines and clinical trials in the Irish market.

Gráinne holds a degree in Biotechnology from Dublin City University and has over 25 years of experience in quality leadership roles within the Irish pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing sectors prior to her work at HPRA.

Gráinne is serving a second term on the PSI Council as the HPRA nominee.
