Cyril Sullivan

Dr. Cyril Sullivan is a qualified accountant (FCCA/ACMA) with over 30 years’ experience as a senior executive in both the public and charity sectors. He is currently the CEO of the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA). He previously held senior executive positions with the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) and the National Roads Authority (NRA).

Cyril has been a board and audit committee member of state agencies, including the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland and he has recently finished his second term as Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee of An Garda Síochána. He is a qualified accountant and has a B.Sc. in Computer Science (TCD), an M.(Econ). Sc. in Policy Studies (TCD), an MBA (Smurfit Business School, UCD), and a Doctorate in Governance (Queens University, Belfast).

Cyril is appointed to the PSI Council as a public interest nominee.
